Jennette McCurdy Covers Amy Grant’s Grown Up Christmas List
Jennette McCurdy has released a new cover song that goes well with the holiday season. She covered of “Grown Up Christmas List”, which was originally done by David Foster, then by Amy Grant and Kelly Clarkson. The sad, but beautiful song fits the season well and also shares feelings that many adults do feel around this time. You can hear Jennette’s rendition of the song in her homemade vlog.
I will say that Jennette’s music has grown on me. I was not crazy about her music before, but I think she has certain something about her voice. She could easily go into any music genre, so she certainly is not limited to country music, however, that does seem to be where her heart is. I am curious to see where she goes once her album comes out and to see if she changes her genre in a little bit. It could be a lot of fun for her and allow her to spread her wings a bit.
Do you think that Jennette did the song justice or should she stick with country music? I think she could go the route that Taylor Swift has gone. You know the route where country meets pop? That seems like it would be a good path to go down and still give her breathing room to explore other music genres. However, she may want to stick with country professionally and do pop songs for the fun of it. Whatever she finally decides, I think we can all support her on it.

“ICarly: IQ” – Carly Finds Love, But What About Seddie?
Tonight at 8:00 is the premiere of the “iCarly” episode “iQ.” In the episode, Carly meets a smart, British boy and tries to impress him by lying about her own intelligence while Freddie tries to convince his mom to let T-Bo move into their apartment after being evicted from the Groovy Smoothie.
We’re sure this episode is going to be hilarious and Carly (Miranda Cosgrove) will find herself way over her head, but there is another reason why we’re excited for this episode: Sam (Jennette McCurdy) and Freddie (Nathan Kress).
Last episode (iLove You), the two stated that they would break up at midnight. So, what does that mean for them now? Will the show’s writers just discard the recent Seddie story and go back to having each episode unconnected? Or will Sam and Freddie’s relationship continue to develop as the season goes on?
We’re anxious to find out!
How about you? Do you hope the writers continue to develop Sam and Freddie’s relationship? Do you think they really broke up?
Let us know your thoughts and be sure to tune in to “iQ” tonight at 8:00 to find out
