Jennette McCurdy Signs Deal With UTA – Could This Mean The End Of “ICarly?”

Yesterday, Deadline reported that “iCarly” co-star Jennette McCurdy has signed a new deal with UTA (United Talent Agency). The talent agency represents such big stars as Johnny Depp and Harrison Ford (one of Jennette’s favorites) and plans to work with Jennette in areas of television, film, and music.

Congratulations Jennette on her big announcement!

While “iCarly” begins production on its fifth season next year, is it possible that Jennette’s new deal might mean the fifth season will also be its last? The report announced work on a television pilot that would act as a starring vehicle for Jennette and stated that she plans to segue from country music to pop.

What do you think? Are you excited to see what the future holds for Jennette? Would you be sad to see “iCarly” go?

Jennette McCurdy And Nathan Kress Down Under – Australian Kids’ Choice Awards

“iCarly” stars Jennette McCurdy and Nathan Kress are making their way to Australia where they will host the Kids’ Choice Awards on Friday, October 7. Here’s what Jennette had to say about the trip:

Australia! I’m coming for you! I’ll be the one who looks like she’s been on a plane for 16 hours but is ready to host the KCA’s nonetheless.

We can’t wait to hear how Jennette and Nathan’s trip goes.

Maybe they will visit “Bucket & Skinner’s Epic Adventures” star Tiffany Espensen, who has been there for the last week, visiting Bindi Irwin at the Australian Zoo, hiking the rainforest, and biking the Gold Coast!

Are you planning on watching the Kids’ Choice Awards? Who do you hope wins?

“ICarly: IQ” – Carly Finds Love, But What About Seddie?

Tonight at 8:00 is the premiere of the “iCarly” episode “iQ.” In the episode, Carly meets a smart, British boy and tries to impress him by lying about her own intelligence while Freddie tries to convince his mom to let T-Bo move into their apartment after being evicted from the Groovy Smoothie.

We’re sure this episode is going to be hilarious and Carly (Miranda Cosgrove) will find herself way over her head, but there is another reason why we’re excited for this episode: Sam (Jennette McCurdy) and Freddie (Nathan Kress).

Last episode (iLove You), the two stated that they would break up at midnight. So, what does that mean for them now? Will the show’s writers just discard the recent Seddie story and go back to having each episode unconnected? Or will Sam and Freddie’s relationship continue to develop as the season goes on?

We’re anxious to find out!

How about you? Do you hope the writers continue to develop Sam and Freddie’s relationship? Do you think they really broke up?

Let us know your thoughts and be sure to tune in to “iQ” tonight at 8:00 to find out

Did Sam and Freddie Really Break up in “iLove You”?

Did you catch the latest episode of “iCarly” last night? If not, be sure to watch a rerun or download it on iTunes, because we don’t want to spoil anything for you.

How surprised were you when Sam (Jennette McCurdy) and Freddie (Nathan Kress) decided to break up at the end of “iLove You?” Or did they? What do you think happened after midnight? Do you think they really broke up?

I guess we’ll have to wait until next week’s episode “iQ” to see just where Sam and Freddie’s relationship goes.

But until then, what do you hope happens between Sam and Freddie? Do you want them to be a couple? To not have a relationship at all? Or to be an on-and-off couple? Will Sam become more normal or Freddie less normal? Did Sam and Freddie’s relationship turn you off of “iCarly?” Or did it make the show all the more exciting?

Jennette and Nathan to host the 2011 Australian KCAs

“iCarly” costars Jennette McCurdy and Nathan Kress have announced that they will be hosting this year’s Australian Kids’ Choice Awards, which will take place on Friday, October 7. Cody Simpson is set to perform and “iCarly,” Big Time Rush, and Jennette McCurdy are all up for awards.

In a recent interview with TV Tonight, Jennette spoke about how excited she is to visit Australia for the first time:

I’m super-excited to be going to Australia for the first time to co-host the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards. My other cast members have experienced Australia and they say it’s amazing! I’m so excited it’s my turn and that I’m in the running to win the LOL Award! I also heard that Aussies go nuts with slime, so I hope I get to unleash some onto the kids of Australia!

Nathan added:

Jennette and I can’t wait to get there, it’s gonna be a blast and we’re looking forward to meeting the Aussie fans on the Orange Carpet. Hopefully iCarly will win Fave TV Show too… but not sure if we stand a chance against Home and Away!

Are you planning on watching or attending this year? If so, you’re in for a big treat!

This year, slime-lover Rove McManus will battle against all-time KCA Slime Celebs including Guy Sebastian, Natalie Bassingthwaighte, and Bindi and Robert Irwin for a place in the Hall Of Slime!

Who did you vote for to win a blimp award? You can vote for your favorites here. Voting ends September 25.
